Charles Pinning is a writer and photographer living in Providence, Rhode Island. He is the author of the acclaimed novel, IRREPLACEABLE.

His writing appears regularly on the pages of the Providence Journal, as well as in various magazines and literary journals. His photographs can also be found on the pages of the Journal, as well as in magazines, galleries, and private collections.

A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Mr. Pinning is currently teaching at the University of Rhode Island.
